The size of the rooms were good - bigger than a standard hotel room. Very quiet - we were never woken up and found it easy to go to sleep.
The front desk staff at check in weren't very helpful - they could have given more information about where the room was located and we had to prompt about breakfast arrangements.

very nice access to parks and cultural landmarks
I loved my stay, particularly because the central area made it easy to stroll through the nearby gardens and visit the fine National Gallery of Victoria, where I found so many very nice pieces of art.

Good sized suite with a lounge, washing machine, microwave, etc.
I didn't like the fact there was no wireless in the room. My mac does not have a broadband connector so I had to sit in the lobby to access the internet.

We had a wonderful time staying in a Heritage Queen Suite, enjoying the amazing breakfast and complimentary wine hour every evening! The laundry facilities were super handy, and the cozy lounge area was perfect for unwinding after a long day. Just a heads-up, the bathroom could use some updating, but overall, it was a fab experience 😊

It was clean and tidy and within walking distance to most things we wanted to see in the city.
Valet parking car not cheap but for ease of worrying about parking we did it. When car was returned and left out the front the back tyre was mounted on an angle up on the curb and within 3 inches of a pole the front tyre was half mounted up of the curb so tyre was off the ground but only half on curb. Our tyres are low profile but luckliy no damage was done to our Audi which is only 3months old. Not sure how the girl did not realise when she returned it but could have beena costly mistake.

Ample kitchen facilities, stylish set-up overall, washer-dryer convenience
The reception areas could use some sprucing up!!! The carpet and bathroom vacuuming should be more frequent!!! Consider replacing the weak shower stream and addressing the toilet cistern issues for better comfort!!!

The staff at the Sebel were fantastic - very friendly and helpful. Also being able to open a door onto a small balcony and breathe fresh air. The location was great and being able to get a room with twin beds was very important. Far too many other hotel rooms only offer double beds.
Nothing but the stay was too short.

We took a short stroll to the beautiful Queen Victoria Market, packed with delicious food stalls and local crafts. The hotel was immaculate, even accommodating our furry friend with open arms.
My kids wished there were more activities for younger ones.

Convenience. Facilities in the suite.
No view as windows are too high up. Noisy reception on arrival as it is only separated from restaurant by screens. First room I was given was in a pokey annexe.
